Small, firm epidermis requires great elasticity. Strength means the power of your skin or integument to break back or tighten after it has been displaced or drawn far from the body. Excellent strength depends upon healthy collagen and elastin materials that rest very serious, near underneath of the dermis, the heavy coating of our integument below the surface. Collagen and elastin materials become small rubber artists that support the integument restricted against our body, and pull the free structure straight back when it’s stretched or pulled.
Aging, sun injury from ultraviolet (UV) mild, smoking, stress, extortionate alcohol absorption and an detrimental diet and lifestyle all ruin collagen and elastin in the dermis and trigger the integument to ease and sag. Extending due to pregnancy or rapid fat loss after dieting or gastric avoid surgery also destroys collagen and elastin in the dermis and results in loose and loss of tone.
All laser and non-surgical epidermis tightening strategies work by stimulating the development of new collagen and elastin in the dermis. When you heat collagen and elastin to 66 degrees centigrade hifu, the collagen and elastin materials reduce or tighten, and are remodeled with new collagen and elastin formation. The aftereffect of this epidermis securing and new collagen and elastin development is that the serious dermis contracts and becomes firmer and the free tissue is tightened.
The elastin and collagen rest very serious in the dermis, and the major concern is to have enough heat strong down in the dermis to remodel elastin and collagen without using the surface of the integument as the heat passes through the more shallow layers.
It has been achieved by using very effective chilling products that cool the top while the heat energy is passed through the outer lining on its way to the heavy dermis. Products that have that power are the Palomar LuxIR Heavy, Thermage, titan and Refirme to mention a few.
A more recent method applies heat to the deep layers from underneath. New laser liposuction engineering like SlimLipo runs on the little laser cannula located underneath the integument to burn fat. Heat also triggers contraction and tightening of the overlying loose tissue. This approach has been very effective for the abdomen and throat or double chin.
These epidermis tightening practices can be used on and are most reliable on the face. Since integument therapeutic is required, these fractional resurfacing techniques are less effective in areas including the throat, stomach, and arms.
Lasers aren’t treating choice for sagging and laxity of the throat, abdomen and arms. These parts involve more temperature energy that will only be provided by infrared and radiofrequency machines.
